The body of the dress is made of a mix of fabrics that add to its visual interest. The skirt and draped panels on the bodice and back are a black silk chiffon that is hand set into place. This creates that feel of softness and lightness that the dress has. When you move the skirt twirls and moves with you. It is cut to hug your curves and shape the body. The bodice has interior boning to form and shape the bust. The base layer is a nude silk that gives the illusion from the distance that you are seeing bare skin through the black lace. The lace is a heavy thread that forms little 3D flowers set into the pattern. These peek out as if it is a separate piece set under the draping and adds to the sensuality of the dress.
